Important: SBB Preview is the testing version of the SBB Mobile app where new and innovative functions and features for potential future inclusion in the primary app are experimented with.

 <li>The fundamental functionalities for checking timetables and purchasing tickets for journeys across Switzerland are consistent between SBB Preview and SBB Mobile. The Preview app is distinguishable by its grey theme.</li>
</ul>
The highlight of the app is the redesigned navigation bar, which includes the following key sections:

 <li>Plan:
 <ul>
 <li>Plan your journey by directly requesting a timetable or by setting your current location as either the origin or destination, viewable on a map.</li>
 <li>Purchase tickets for Switzerland in just two clicks, with automatic application of your travelcards stored on your SwissPass.</li>
 <li>Benefit from cost-effective travel options like supersaver tickets or Saver Day Passes.</li>
 </ul>
 </li>
 <li>Trips:
 <ul>
 <li>Your purchased tickets will be saved in the 'Journeys' section.</li>
 <li>Even without a purchase, you can manually save your journey details within the timetable.</li>
 <li>Receive real-time notifications about delays, disruptions, and interchange details as you travel door to door.</li>
 </ul>
 </li>
 <li>EasyRide:
 <ul>
 <li>Effortlessly travel across the entire GA Travelcard network by checking in and commencing your journey.</li>
 <li>EasyRide calculates the appropriate fare based on your traveled routes and charges you accordingly afterward.</li>
 </ul>
 </li>
 <li>Tickets and travelcards:
 <ul>
 <li>Show your public transport travelcards digitally through SwissPass Mobile.</li>
 <li>Access an overview of both active and expired tickets and travelcards associated with your SwissPass.</li>
 </ul>
 </li>
 <li>Profile: Conveniently manage personal settings and access customer support.</li>
</ul>

Data security and authorizations:

<ul>
 <li>Location: Activation of GPS is necessary for finding the nearest stop when planning journeys originating from your current location or when checking nearest stops in the timetable.</li>

<li>Calendar and e-mail: Save connections to your calendar or share them via email; read and write permissions are required for importing connections into your calendar.</li>

<li>Access to the camera: The app needs camera access for direct photo capture in SBB Preview, specifically intended for the personalized touch timetable. Permission will be requested.</a>

<li>Internet access: Internet connection is essential for obtaining timetable information and accessing ticket purchasing options.</a>

<li>Memory: SBB Preview needs access to device memory to support offline functions such as storing stop lists, connections history, and purchased tickets while saving app-specific settings.</a></ul>
